reimagined.

LEARN REST GROW CONNECT

Inspired by the ancient Egyptian concept of Per Ankh—the House of Life—Shamba Sana imagines a place where learning, care, nature and community belong together.

Our long-term vision is a welcoming urban sanctuary: a place to learn, connect with practitioners, grow food, preserve knowledge and find restoration.

Our first steps are online learning through the Institute and a developing Integrative Care pilot. Together, they bring education and practitioner support into reach while the physical sanctuary remains a future ambition.

A whole-person perspective

Wellbeing grows
through balance.

We see wellbeing as a relationship among body, mind, spirit, daily habits and the environments we share.

Ancestral knowledge

Honor distinct cultural traditions and share knowledge with context, care and stewardship.

02

Integrative wellness

Consider the many parts of a person’s life and how they shape everyday wellbeing.

03

Modern health science

Engage with contemporary research thoughtfully and alongside qualified practitioners.

04

Self-knowledge & agency

Build understanding and practical habits that support informed participation in wellbeing.

A vision for the spaces we share

Room to learn.
Space to restore.

Our longer-term vision brings learning, care, nourishing food, nature and community together in welcoming urban sanctuaries. Community-informed research and responsible knowledge preservation would help us learn from that work and share its benefits.
